A spot that I can blog about life and whatever else comes along. A place for my thoughts and meandering mind to wander.
Life is a meandering road that takes you where you are not sure you want to go. Life is at no times a bore, but at times can cost more than you bargained for. Life is a challenge, a way to pass the time, but when life continues to throw curves at you, you need to learn to duck!

Life has a way of throwing you off your game. If you let it you can get lost and miss your opportunity to find a new game. I am going to use this area to tell some of the stories that I recall of growing up, working, moving, and many other possible story lines. Life the last couple of years has been difficult at best. But, I need to move forward and not focus on what was but what can be. Many of you who know me well know to what I refer. Those of you who do not, or have lost touch with me in recent years will likely get an inkling reading this blog.
It is time to step back into life and begin living instead of existing. I know that my Dad and Cathy will always be a part of me, just moving on without them especially my 'twin' has been by far my most difficult task to date. Even tougher than surviving cervical cancer. My Mom has moved forward and although financially she struggles she is content and happier than she has been in years. I look to her for inspiration and guidance. She is a role model to follow and I intend to do just that.
Work has not quite worked out the way the plan had been laid. Leaving full time contract work in the north to come home and spend six years being part time was not really what I had envisioned. I am trying to maintain a positive attitude but it is waning with the work game.

Thursday the first full day of unpaid vacation, lol. Depressing yet enlightening, such confusion surrounding my career and finances. Finding a place within my chosen field has proven to be more arduous that I had anticipated. However, on this journey forward onward and upward as they say.
The sun is shining and the resident Robin's are singing, Pilly is munching his dill weed happily in his house and the world is going to be fine once we leave it in peace and tranquility. I have a couple of things ongoing and doing some research as to next steps. I am excited about new chapters in life and exciting challenges.
