Tis the day Mom has awaited for many months now. Her left eye is the lens to be corrected today, she was able to save up her money to get the better of the two lenses. To me the lens that OHIP offers is like having a cataract, the one you have to pay for is true clear sight. I am glad Mom was able to get the better of the two lenses.
So, it is off to the hospital to sit and wait with Mom for the day. We need to be there for the entire day. After that I will get Mom settled and head to my union meeting at 4:30, then back to Mom's to spend the night with her as they are not to be left unsupervised the first night. I am looking forward to her being able to see clearly again and I know that she is as well.
I am off,
enjoy the day,
Lady of the Oak
