It is very chilly outside this morning, only 5'C, from 31'C earlier last week.
The baby Robins just outside our back door appear to be doing quite well. Momma sat on the nest yesterday to keep them warm while Dad brought in worms for the growing youngsters.
Puttered about the garden shed began another two towers and completed another. Finished up my tin can candle holders. Saw the baby Mourning Dove sitting on the fence being rained upon. I do not know much about how they are raised but we have not seen her parents in nearly a week. I guess she must be on her own now to fend for herself.
I am working on an article for our horticultural society - I am writing about recycling in the garden and Critter, Critter Everywhere a Critter. Still have not come up with a title for the recycling article.
I had to bring in my vegetable flats that I began from seeds as they were just drenched. Covered up another batch of flats with a plastic cover. It is great for my rain chain to keep the rain barrel full, but a bit of a deluge for my young seedlings.
