Tomatoe Days are here

Today is the day I begin my tomatoe trek.  Basil, garlic, onions, just a few of the ingredients that will be poured into jars and sealed to be enjoyed during the long winter days of the upcoming cold months. 

I went to pick tomatoes yesterday, but the place I usually pick them was short on ripe ones.  So, I called a local (of course) farm and they have lots.  I pick them up today and will do my prep and then tomorrow the fun begins.  So, I am off to pick up my tomatoes and get the ball rolling.
