Getting there...

Today was spent with the promised weeding of a few buckthorn plantain and then walked to a fellow garden club member's garden and met our club president there and was fortunate to be offered a tour of his garden!  It was a great morning!
Picture perfect petunias

I planted the skates with purple petunias the only variation of colour for this annual I buy.  Next year I will do pink flowers for Cathy, but this year had to use what I had on hand in the garden shed.  I was thinking of putting them somewhere else, but when I put them where they are for a photo I kinda like being able to see them from my chaise while reading and having a quiet cup of tea.

Changes for snail - now he is a flower snail

The travel gnome!

I had a relaxing day after my two wonderful garden tours and then I planted the remaining petunias.  We are forcast for thunder showers tomorrow the ground is dry and could use a light rain, just to top up the rain barrel and give the plants a nice drink and a break from the sun.
