Life sustains life...sharing is good

Sharing my strawberry patch is ok, so long as we share.

Young female fledgling having a snack or is it a meal?
We decided to do some trimming and weeding, we had a busy day.  We poured the stepping stone and created a hosta leaf we shall see how they turn out.

The new bird feeders are up and filled for our fine feathered friends.  The seed feeder is made in Canada and the humming bird feeder is made in the U.S.A.  This was important to me that we support our local economies.

After dinner we decided to head to the lake and go for a walk and enjoy the cooler temperatures.  It went up to 34'C on our backyard thermometer yesterday.  We live about 10 minutes from Lake Erie and as we approached the lake you could feel the temperature diminish it was refreshing after such a hot day.

Someone had taken the time to build a very cool<pun here> shade lean too, it looks quite solid and it will likely remain until the wind blows it down as folks are pretty respectful in this quiet little area.
